It pains me to say I am probably the most complicated team member of our diverse crew. I explain almost everything in life using wild hand motions and without filter. Whatever it is I’m feeling, I feel it loud and large. For this very reason, it is a hysterical miracle that this magazine can often hinge on my sanity. Jesus is greater than the messes I create and for that, I’m grateful.
I have been married for five years to my supportive and hilarious husband Caleb. Together we have two bearded mutts, an unruly assortment of chippy antiques and truly exceptional friends and family. I love cooking for big crowds, old houses, throwing parties, the North Carolina Mountains and dabbling in wedding planning. I’ve also finally admitted that my favorite food is pizza – I surrender!
In my role as the Managing Editor of Shattered magazine, I hope to encourage our writers to tell stories and tell them well. I’m continually hunting story ideas, seeking out authors and tirelessly working to ensure that people feel heard. Through Shattered, it is my desire to help others be real and be free.
As vital as I may think I am to the magazine, I’m trying to simplify my role in this Greater story.
