A protest of abortion advocate Planned Parenthood will take place in Washington, D.C. at the proposed site of a new Planned Parenthood center the afternoon of January 21, despite winter storm Jonas.

The #ProtestPP campaign has gained momentum since abortion advocate Planned Parenthood was discovered in July 2015 to be selling the baby parts harvested from abortions.

It feels wrong to even type those words.

A series of eleven videos have been released documenting the discussion of profit of sales resulting from abortions by Planned Parenthood. The videos will make your stomach turn.

The Washington D.C. protest, organized and sponsored by #ProtestPP, will include a prayer vigil, rally, and special guest speakers.

We’re reporting on the #ProtestPP demonstration because we’ve shared many stories about how abortion painfully affects women—and men—and how they’ve found healing from abortion. We want to break down barriers to the truth about abortion, and we believe the #ProtestPP and the March for Life movements are doing the same thing.

#ProtestPP and the March For Life

The #ProtestPP rally comes the day before the annual March for Life, which takes place each year at the National Mall in Washington D.C. on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade verdict. This year’s March for Life is on the 43rd anniversary of the 1973 verdict which made abortion legal in America. The March for Life has been peacefully demonstrating every year since 1973.

The 2016 March for Life will feature a lineup of speakers including businesswoman and presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, Focus on the Family president Jim Daly, and Dr. Russell Moore, president of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. A live stream of the March for Life will begin at 11:45am January 22.
